At base camp in Retreat, Cape Town, staff with a keen eye for detail, as passed on to them by the company's name-sake, form the team of Carlos La Woodworks. Having started out with just Carlos La, the team exploded to eighteen in 2006 as the demand for Carlos' work in the shop-fitting, customized kitchens and furniture markets grew. Carlos believes that working with his employees, as opposed to have them work for him, has brought about the accomplishments of the team.
